Returns and Refunds Policy

Return Policy

You are entitled to cancel your order within 30 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for canceling an order is 30 days from the date you received the goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement.

We will reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The goods were purchased in the last 30 days
  • The goods are in the original packaging
  • The goods are unused and in resalable condition
  • All tags and labels are intact
  • The product is not damaged or broken

Products That Cannot Be Returned

The following goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, for example goods which deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us.

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service at contact@whimsyetchedgifts.com to request a return authorization
  2. Include your order number and reason for return in your email
  3. Wait for our return confirmation email with return instructions
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging
  5. Include a copy of your order confirmation or receipt
  6. Ship the item to the return address provided
  7. Keep your tracking number until your return is processed

Refund Process

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return conditions. This process typically takes 3-5 business days.

If your return is approved, we will process your refund within 30 days of receiving the returned item. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product, etc.).

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your item for a different size, color, or style, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item. We will process the return and new order separately.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the item you want is not in stock, we will issue a refund instead.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at contact@whimsyetchedgifts.com or call +15512944950. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the damage or defect
  • Photos of the damaged or defective item if possible

We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, at our discretion.

Wrong Items Received

If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you at no additional cost, and we will provide instructions for returning the wrong item.

Partial Returns

If your order contains multiple items and you wish to return only some of them, you will receive a refund for the returned items only. The original shipping costs will not be refunded unless all items in the order are returned.

Gift Returns

If you received a gift and wish to return it, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser. If you are the original purchaser and would like to return a gift you purchased for someone else, please contact us for special return instructions.

Return Shipping Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for returns, especially for high-value items. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

International Returns

While we currently ship within the United States only, if you are an international customer who received our products through a third-party service, please contact us directly to discuss return options.
